This is an embedded application that can be launched from within your AutoCAD session allowing you to search for all of your AutoCAD drawings by simply typing in keywords. The keywords can be ANY text that resides on the drawing, the title block, the drawing attributes or the XREF’s. Once the drawing (or list of drawings) is found, the user can insert that drawing as an XREF or as a block, or simply open it in AutoCAD. The a9 AppConnect for AutoCAD solution can also search for documents and images outside the AutoCAD database or repository, including all Microsoft Office-type documents.
